Tomica Mania!

Tomica

When I was a child, I'd started to collect Tomica toys/Scale models along with Gunplas. I had three buses, the Hato bus, Dolphin Tour Bus and the green public bus. If I remember, it was given away to other children, because at that time, I'm already at my transition of thoughts, I thought I'm too old for Tomicas. But now I've realized that age doesn't matter, especially when it comes to hobbies like these kind of toys. I really love to collect Tomicas too just like I love my Gunplas, so I will start collecting Tomicas again from  now on...

1/1280 Sunflower Sapporo

The first scale model  ship I've seen from Tomica and I bought it immediately hehe :))
So here it is!

That's all folks! I hope you enjoy my blog! :)

Catching Up

I'm gonna be near on my goal!! And yes, at last the upper body and the lower body's inner frame was done! But still working on the lower body's armor, rifle, shield, core fighter's cockpit and some small details and here is the progress for today:

This kit shall be done immediately! Stay tuned!! :)

Introduction:

Hello fellow hobbyists and modelers, well this is my first time to use a Blogspot as my blogging portal and leisure time. :)

MG GP01 Gundam:

Is in progress *and yes it's still in progress, because of many delays* due to  my enjoyment of a 1-month vacation with my cousins. Actually this kit should be finished by this week and I should be already doing my MG V Dash Gundam ver. Ka. Let's get started:

Snap-Building:

So before painting, I snapped in every parts of the kit so that I'll know how the kit will look like:

Among the UC timeline Mobile Suits that I've bought, according to the RX models' standard design, for now this is Gundam that has the longest feet that I've ever seen *maybe I'll be seeing more  Gundams and Mobile Suits with a longer feet as I collect more UC timeline Mobile Suits in the future*.....

Painting in Progress:

I. Chest part:

-- I really love RX model Gundams especially these 4 Gundam Prototype models *GP*
   -- GP01 and Full Booster
   -- GP02A
   -- GP03S
-- GP04G *sad thing was it didn't materialized*

Things that I love in GP models are:
-- Design
-- Armaments
-- Strong Fighting power
-- and their chests *except for GP04 since Bandai didn't released a kit, though there is a resin kit of 04.* Why chest? Because their chest are compatible  to each other.
Example: GP03's chest can be used by GP02. But take note: they differ in terms of  chest's back features and more likely GP01 and GP01fb's chests are more compatible because they're the same model with a different core fighter. For conclusion, the 3 GPs' chests are still compatible to each other! :)))

So here's  the pic, notice that the V part's out of shape because of extreme rough sanding:

FF-XII Core Fighter

As I had expected from RX Gundam models, their core fighters *although some RX models like Gundam Mark II, Nu Gundam and etc., these Gundams don't have a core fighter at all.* I'll post a size comparison between Gundam and GP01's core fighter soon as I finish this kit. As of now, core fighter's body was already done last week and take note, only the body. The cockpit is not yet done:

Continuation:

At last! Another progress has been made yesterday! April 11, 2012 I was able to paint the following:

-- Head section
-- Shoulders section
-- Legs' frame section
-- Backpack section *core fighter's cover*
-- Waist section

and here it is,  I used my 2 Calculus books as a scaffolding TEEHEE >:) :

OSU!! I hope  I could really catch up! Stay Tuned!! :)
